PMI Activity is a component of work performed during the course of a project.[1]
AACEI An activity is an operation or process consuming time and possibly resources (with the exception of dummy activities). An activity is an element of work that must be performed in order to complete a project. An activity consumes time, and may have resources associated with it. Activities must be measurable and controllable. An activity may include one or more tasks. (6/07)[2]
